Tapestry
C O N S T R U C T I O N
Beginning at the neckline, Tapestry is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. Just after the rolled collar, short rows are added to create a higher back neck and a stranded colorwork yoke is worked. Next, sleeve stitches are placed on hold and the body is worked, in the round. The cropped length body includes additional stranded colorwork just prior to working the ribbed hem. Sleeve stitches are then picked up and worked, in the round. The sleeves also include stranded colorwork before finishing with a ribbed cuff.
The colorwork pattern is charted only and my test knitters found the pattern to be appropriate for an adventurous beginner. Happy knitting!
